enjoyment in sourcing specific wines for customers and welcome the challenge.
As I write this, with Christmas approaching, we are working on a fantastic fishing inspired project to provide the perfect boutique gift this festive season – the ‘Fly Series’. This will be a bespoke wooden case including three individually selected cuvees (The Three Kings) bottled especially for Mayfly named after our favoured fishing flies with hand drawn labels.
I should add - also bear this in mind as a
year round gift for the angler in your life! A positive side to the ‘complications’
since March, is the rise of the Mayfly Wine Club; as more of us were housebound we took it upon ourselves to offer a monthly mixed case of six bottles (three different wines) from small eclectic producers, not usually found in generic wine shops, for £90 delivered. This included tasting notes, a tailored recipe from notable chef friends paired with one of the delicious wines, and it seems to have lifted spirits in these tough times.
